A sophisticated example of Cartier’s celebrated desk clocks, this vintage Pendulette alarm clock reflects the timeless design language synonymous with the Parisian luxury house. Crafted with a striking black lacquer square case and a polished gilt-brass bezel, the clock frames a crisp white dial featuring classic Roman numerals and the signature Cartier Paris inscription.
Powered by a Swiss-made mechanical 8-day movement, the clock requires winding only once per week and features an integrated alarm function. The reverse reveals the beautifully engineered movement plate along with distinctive blue cabochon-style winding jewels, a subtle design detail that echoes the sapphire cabochon crowns famously used on Cartier’s watches.
Reference 7512, this vintage Cartier desk clock is accompanied by its original Cartier presentation box and booklet. Pieces of this type formed part of Cartier’s highly regarded Must de Cartier desk clock collection, admired for combining practical function with refined decorative appeal.
