A Rolex Submariner Date reference 116619LB, famously known to collectors as the “Smurf”, crafted entirely from 18ct white gold across its 40mm Oyster case and bracelet. Its vivid blue dial is paired with a matching blue Cerachrom bezel, Chromalight hour markers and the signature Cyclops date display, creating one of the most distinctive precious-metal Submariners ever produced.
Power comes from the legendary Rolex Calibre 3135, a 31-jewel self-winding chronometer movement delivering approximately 48 hours of power reserve. Engineered as a professional dive watch, it also offers 300 metres of water resistance and Rolex’s Glidelock bracelet adjustment system.
This 2020 example is presented in immaculate condition with its original full set of paperwork, box, certification and our 12-month WLC warranty. Discontinued in 2020 after a 12-year production run, the 116619LB was Rolex’s first white-gold Submariner, while its successor abandoned the matching blue dial.
