Watch Market Comparison - https://tinyurl.com/3dtay2kk

The Rolex Yacht-Master II reference 116688 is one of the rarest and most technically sophisticated sports watches ever produced by Rolex. Crafted entirely from 18ct yellow gold, this commanding 44mm model features the iconic blue Cerachrom bezel and crisp white dial, creating one of the most striking and prestigious configurations within the Professional collection.

Powered by the Rolex Calibre 4161 automatic movement, this remarkable timepiece incorporates an innovative programmable countdown timer with mechanical memory, making it one of the most complex and technically advanced movements ever developed by Rolex.

Following the discontinuation of the Yacht-Master II collection in 2024, collector interest has grown significantly as production has been permanently capped. Full 18ct gold references such as the 116688 were produced in relatively low numbers and are becoming increasingly difficult to acquire. Their rarity, precious metal construction, and technical significance continue to drive strong collector demand, positioning them as highly desirable long-term acquisitions.

Presented in good condition, this 2016 example is supplied with original box and paperwork and benefits from a 12-month WLC warranty.
